Route 113 (RMX Jam)

This is a recreation of the Route 113 theme from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, created in Furnace Tracker for the RMX Jam by OST Composing Jam. I have tried to recreate the sound of a Game Boy Advance as faithfully as possible (by combining low-quality samples and the 4 original Game Boy chiptune channels), so you could say it's a Game Boy Advance recreation of a Game Boy Advance song, made from scratch using different instrumentation.

The original .fur file is included for download.

Made using SuperPeRIL 1.0 (Super Penguin Retro Instrument Library - yeah I came up with that name first and then found an excuse to use it ;P), a collection of public domain samples, selected, edited and looped by pingudroid for use in Furnace Tracker.

The main goal of SuperPeRIL is to provide a set of 100% legal, clearly sourced, no-strings-attached instruments. The original samples are sourced from:

- VSCO 2 Community Edition (CE)

- The Versilian Community Sample Library (VCSL-1.2.2)

- https://freepats.zenvoid.org (I selected specifically only instruments that were released under a CC-0 license)

I'm releasing all the instruments in this .fur file under the public domain. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. Feel free to use the instruments in your own songs, use this tracker file as a template directly, or even expand on it and distribute your own modified version of the template.
